After discussion with IANA, we suggest the following updates to the handling of Unassigned values. The corresponding IANA registries would be updated accordingly. IANA is CCed on this thread, please let them know if you have questions.

Are the changes detailed below acceptable? Please let us know any further changes. The intention is to remove mention of "Reserved" when referring to Unassigned values, and to add mention of 255 because the body of the document includes "The registry has an upper boundary of 255 in the numeric value field."
