As Stephan Wenger noted at the AVTCORE Virtual Interim meeting on February 13, 2024, the IETF's IPR policy is stated in the Note Well: AVTCORE_WG_02_13_2024 - Google Slides <https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1gSOrVyB9jK32fynJUx2O-noJCvcTMQrvvFqlkFhfTV8/edit#slide=id.g23f03e85e9f_0_278> Please read the references in the Note Well and consult with counsel. It is expected that WG participants will make timely IPR declarations relating to contributions. This includes (but is not limited to) the following: - Indicating during a presentation (as an author or commenter) whether IPR is associated with the draft being presented. - As an author, disclosing IPR relating to a draft in advance of a Call for Adoption. "Sanctions Available for Application to Violators of IETF IPR Policy" RFC 6701 describes potential sanctions that can be applied. Bernard For the Chairs
