Here is my summary of what I concluded from the questions I asked:

router-id data type
I'm introducing a new data type into the info model draft.
binary: a binary string (sequence of octets).
I'll be using this for router-id and those Hello history parameters. Also considering for seqno parameters (thoughts welcome).

babel-implementation-version
Old: babel-implementation-version:
the version of this implementation of the Babel protocol
New: babel-implementation-version:
the name and version of this implementation of the Babel protocol

babel-neighbor-address
Wishy-washiness abounded. It's hard to un-restrict a parameter once it has been restricted. I'm going to leave this as IPv4 or IPv6, since that provides maximum flexibility just in case.

ECMP routing
The info model doesn't preclude it, but it also doesn't do anything special for it. It doesn't appear that any of the current parameters would need to be changed if we were to do something special. We're going to do nothing for now.

InterfaceMetricAlgorithm
New parameter being added to the Interface object.
"Indicates the metric computation algorithm used on this interface, from among the supported metric computation algorithms listed in babel-metric-comp-algorithms."

ExternalCost
Deleted.
