Hi John,

Yes, it refers to the Encapsulation Extended Community (RFC 9012: The BGP Tunnel Encapsulation Attribute (rfc-editor.org)<https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc9012#name-encapsulation-extended-comm>)

The use of the encapsulation extended community with EVPN is introduced first in RFC8365, so I don’t think anyone implementing this would have any doubts about what extended community the RFC refers to, but yes, we should have been more accurate.

Looks right (there is no such thing as the “Tunnel Type Extended Community”).

Can the authors please confirm that "Encapsulation Extended Community” is what was intended?
