The following errata report has been submitted for RFC5415,
"Control And Provisioning of Wireless Access Points (CAPWAP) Protocol Specification".

--------------------------------------
You may review the report below and at:
http://www.rfc-editor.org/errata_search.php?rfc=5415&eid=1832

--------------------------------------
Type: Technical
Reported by: Margaret Wasserman <mrw@lilacglade.org>

Section: 4.6.40

Original Text
-------------

4 - Base MAC Address: The WTP's Base MAC address, which MAY be
assigned to the primary Ethernet interface.

Corrected Text
--------------
4 - Base MAC Address: The WTP's Base MAC address MUST be
included in the WTP Board Data message element, and MAY be
assigned to the primary Ethernet interface.

Notes
-----
This is to correct the problem that the requirement for the Base MAC Address (mandatory or optional) is not defined in the spec. This change is needed to allow the MIBs to use the Base MAC Address as an index, and has been approved by the CAPWAP WG.

Instructions:
