Hi Huijuan and authors,

I have read this document and appreciate the authors' efforts. The data model clearly defines the data interaction framework for CATS's core functions, and I believe its work can continue to be advanced.

To further improve this data model, I have two comments:


1.  The service-policy is defined as a single container, not a list. This means that only one service policy can be configured, and different policies cannot be configured for different CS-IDs. Shouldn't each service have its own policy? I think it should be so.

2.  The data model mainly focuses on configuration or notification and seems to lack runtime statistics. For example, could you add statistics on the service match in the traffic classifier?

As suggested by the chairs,I am writing to share a brief status update on this document, to help everyone gain a clear picture and invite further feedback.

draft-yl-cats-data-model-05 - Data Model for Computing-Aware Traffic Steering (CATS)<https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-yl-cats-data-model/>



This document defines a YANG data model for the configuration and management of CATS systems. It adheres to the overall architecture and functional modules specified in draft-ietf-cats-framework, including the data plane, control plane, C-SMA and C-PS. It specifies key data structures (C-CIB, C-NIB) as well as two critical interfaces: CATS-SBI and C-SMA API. As an extension to the ietf-routing YANG model defined in RFC 8349, this model is protocol-agnostic, fully consistent with the CATS framework, and supports system diagnostics and control.

This draft was presented at IETF 123, 124 and 125. Many thanks to Joel Halpern, Adrian Farrel, Peng Liu and all contributors for your insightful feedback. We have revised the draft repeatedly from v00 to v05 to address all raised comments, and no new feedback has come in since IETF 125.

We encourage everyone to conduct additional reviews and join relevant discussions. We look forward to your inputs to push this draft forward for adoption by the CATS WG.

The authors welcome additional review and constructive discussions, and we look forward to your input as we consider this draft for possible adoption by the CATS working group.
