Kireeti, Ron,

Can you please allocate a 5-10 min. time slot for the following draft:

http://user.informatik.uni-goettingen.de/~fu/paper/draft-fu-ccamp-traceroute-00.txt
http://user.informatik.uni-goettingen.de/~fu/paper/draft-fu-ccamp-traceroute-00.pdf

This draft identifies some (transport) issues for generic traceroute for
tunnels (tunneltrace): (1) it is possible that some IP hops do not
support the tunneltrace, (2) for each tunnel wishing to be traced, at
least the two end points should support the tunneltrace, (3) tracing
message should be able to bypass firewalls and NATs. One possible
solution, based on the CASP signaling protocol (stateless mode), is
proposed to support generic routetracing over tunnels.

Suggestion and comments from the working group are very appreciated.

Thanks,
Xiaoming & Rene
