Hi, Robert,

During the IETF 113 ccamp session, you gave some thoughts on how to move forward the work draft-yg3bp-ccamp-network-inventory-yang. We are happy to hear that but looks we are stuck on choosing the WG rather than technical issues. So we are writing to you and ccamp chairs/AD, with some clarification questions and suggestions.

Clarification1: We fully agree on your principle 'to invite wider review & discussion' but are also confused when you say 'it would probably run in the ops area', are you referring to specific working groups (e.g., netmod, opsawg?) or you would like to proceed with 'AD sponsor'? Please let us know which are the right WG(s)

After we get the WGs, we plan to:

-         Send the notification of the draft to the WGs you mentioned and request for their feedback;

-         Invite people to join our weekly call/github for more detailed discussion;

Clarification2: if there are multiple interested WGs involved (we won't be surprised to see ccamp and other OPS WGs), where is the home WG for this work? When will the decision be made? And who will decide? We hope the decision could be made ASAP.

It would be great if you can review the draft and give us some suggestions so that we can discuss in our weekly call. We wish the right people can be gathered soon and the work can be moved forward together.

Best wishes,
Haomian(on behalf of all authors & contributors)
