Hi all, I have submitted a new draft that proposes a new CDNi interface, called "Request Interface". During last 86th IETF meeting, we discussed briefly about the potential necessity(although it is out of scope in the current charter) of such an interface between an end-user and a CDN provider (either uCDN or dCDN)to support iterative request routing redirection and URI signing. The draft outlines such an interface with a few use cases. In addition, it also proposes a new mechanism to enhance availability of CDN services by introducing mutli-location return for redirection candidates.
