Hi All, The Errata below was submitted against RFC8006. It correctly notes that the time window json example in section 6.10 is not correct. It is correct in section 4.2.3, but somehow was messed up in 6.10. Note: section 7.1.12 normatively points to section 4.2.3, so that's good; section 6.10 is really just informational. I am inclined to verify the errata unless anyone disagrees. Thank you to Kazuki Takashima for reporting the error. thanx! -- Kevin J. Ma ----- The following errata report has been submitted for RFC8006, "Content Delivery Network Interconnection (CDNI) Metadata". -------------------------------------- You may review the report below and at:https://www.rfc-editor.org/errata/eid7657 -------------------------------------- Type: Technical Reported by: Kazuki Takashima <ktakashima1213@gmail.com> <<ktakashima1213@gmail.com>> Section: 6.10 Original Text ------------- { "metadata": [ { "generic-metadata-type": "MI.TimeWindowACL", "generic-metadata-value": { "times": [ "windows": [ { "start": "1213948800", "end": "1478047392" } ], "action": "allow" ] } } ] } Corrected Text -------------- { "metadata": [ { "generic-metadata-type": "MI.TimeWindowACL", "generic-metadata-value": { "times": [ { "windows": [ { "start": 1213948800, "end": 1478047392 } ], "action": "allow" } ] } } ] } Notes ----- 1. The "times" property of the TimeWindowACL object has an array of TimeWindowRule type, so I changed it to "windows" and "action" are contained in braces. 2. The "start" and "end" property of the TimeWindow object have a Time type, which is an alias of Integer. So I changed their values ("1213948800", "1478047392") to Integer (1213948800, 1478047392). The examples in sections 4.2.3 and 4.2.3.* seems to be correct as defined in this RFC. Instructions: ------------- This erratum is currently posted as "Reported". If necessary, please use "Reply All" to discuss whether it should be verified or rejected. When a decision is reached, the verifying party can log in to change the status and edit the report, if necessary. -------------------------------------- RFC8006 (draft-ietf-cdni-metadata-21) -------------------------------------- Title : Content Delivery Network Interconnection (CDNI) Metadata Publication Date : December 2016 Author(s) : B.
