Subject: funding proposal for IETF
Message-Id: <05950321073450/0001050002NA1EM@MCIMAIL.COM>

Folks,

it has been proposed (but not yet agreed by the ISOC trustees)
to allocate up to $250K (subject to availability) during 1995
for the benefit of IETF operation. While this amount would not
likely cover all of IETF's needs, it would be a start. Setting
aside for a moment whether this proposal is approved, I wanted
to ask about mechanics for a moment.

Would it work to set up an account at ISOC intended for
disbursement for the benefit of IETF? If so, who would
convey the disbursement requests to ISOC? Paul? A subcommittee?
Other?

Vint
