Hello.

I support adoption of this draft. I've read the document and provided feedback in the past, and I also intend to continue following its development.

I have an early implementation of functionality the draft describes. This includes a proxy that can relay a request from a client to a group of servers. The request can be unprotected CoAP but also protected with Group OSCORE.

In the CoRE interim meeting on 2022-05-25, we had good in-room consensus to adopt draft-tiloca-core-groupcomm-proxy as a CoRE WG document.

However, we never confirmed that in-room consensus on the mailing list.
In Prague, we again said it was high time to do that now.
So:

* If you are opposed to adopting this document as a CoRE WG document, please speak up on this list (or, exceptionally, to core-chairs@ietf.org).

* If you have read the document and support its adoption and/or have other information that might be of interest for its potential adoption, it would also help if you tell us.  In particular, we would be interested to have up-to-date information on who would be willing to support an upcoming WG process by providing reviews and other contributions (we had this information in the interim, but maybe we want to refresh it now).

This WGA confirmation call will end 2023-12-05, giving us some additional time during the US holiday season.
(We do not currently plan to actually use the 2023-12-06 interim slot we reserved, but could in case of new information from the WGA confirmation call; if needed, we could also briefly discuss this WGA confirmation call in the upcoming WG interim meeting this Wednesday, 2023-11-22.)
