Yup. Much of the WG (including, I believe, both chairs and the authors
of both -smime and openpgp) does not like the consensus in
draft-ietf-dane-openpgpkey -- however, this was the consensus, and we
really don't need to relitigate it.

I don't think the execution is relevant when it was obviously a bad
idea in the first place.
