Agreed. RTCP should not have any higher priority than RTP media. First, you don't want RTCP traffic to cause damage to RTP traffic. Second, not being in the same class, RTCP reported data wont reflect the reality for RTP traffic. If you want protection for RTCP packets, use redundancy or other techniques within the bounds allowed by 3550.
