Dear WG members,

I have updated the taxonomy draft according to the comments from the
interim meeting.

The major additions are as follows:
1. Suitability of solutions to the various DetNet services according to
their characteristics
2. Comments on CQF and variants' latency bound classification (as their
bursts can be controlled at the edge)
3. Non-work conserving solutions' strength regarding the buffer size.

Please share your thoughts.

Best,
Jinoo (on behalf of authors)

Abstract:

This draft is to facilitate the understanding of the data plane
enhancement solutions, which are suggested currently or can be
suggested in the future, for deterministic networking. This draft
provides criteria for classifying data plane solutions. Examples of
each category are listed, along with reasons where necessary.
Strengths and limitations of the categories are described.
Suitability of the solutions for various services of deterministic
   networking are also briefly mentioned.
