Dear Stephen,

A side note (maybe you’ve already noted it) is that, the Client Identifier option is also part of the DHCPv4 anonymity profile (Section 3.4). I assume draft-ietf-dhc-anonymity-profile-00 is not intending to obsolete client identifier since it’s needed for DHCP to work.
