A properly implemented DHCP server assigns appropriate IP addresses to the DHCP client machines without affeting existing machines with static IP addresses. DHCP client also must be intelligent enough to detect dulpicate address offered by the server. ~Jitesh -- ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ~ ~ *~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~* ^ Jitesh N.
