Dear all, We have submitted an updated version of draft-ietf-dhc-dynamic-shared-v4allocation. Here is a list of the major changes: 1) Specify the logic of the DHCP 4o6 Server when allocating a shared IPv4 address 2) Make it clear about which interface to use the configuration 3) Require the server to implement a well-known-port reserving mechanism 4) Add some text about the client’s behaviour if it runs with a server that doesn’t support address sharing. 5) Rearrange some sections 6) Clean up the text throughout the document 7) Fix some inaccurate description in the section of Client-Server Interaction, according to RFC2131 Please can you review the document. Comments/suggestions are always appreciated. Thanks, Qi Begin forwarded message: > From: internet-drafts@ietf.org > Subject: [dhcwg] I-D Action: draft-ietf-dhc-dynamic-shared-v4allocation-01.txt > Date: July 2, 2014 at 9:17:43 PM GMT+8 > To: i-d-announce@ietf.org > Cc: dhcwg@ietf.org > > > A New Internet-Draft is available from the on-line Internet-Drafts directories. > This draft is a work item of the Dynamic Host Configuration Working Group of the IETF. > > Title : Dynamic Allocation of Shared IPv4 Addresses > Authors : Yong Cui > Qiong Sun > Ian Farrer > Yiu L.
