Folks,

<having a co-chair hat on>

draft-ietf-dime-extended-naptr-09, which is now in RFC Editor's queue, has a normative reference to draft-ietf-tsvwg-iana-ports, which the authors think is unnecessary. It should be informative as it is there only for a background information purposes. Another point is that draft-ietf-tsvwg-iana-ports is likely to block the document progress for unknown time (could be a matter of days or then a whole lot more). The possible change to the document would be handled by the RFC Editor (accompanied with an appropriate note in the final document, if needed).

So, is the working group OK if the reference to draft-ietf-tsvwg-iana-ports is changed from normative to informative. If you have concerns, express them by Thursday this week. Silence is counted as "no concerns".
