Hello,

Revision -01 of the Simple Agent Management Protocol (SAMP) Internet-Draft has now been published:

https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-efstathiou-samp-agent-management/

This revision incorporates the feedback received on -00 and includes, among other changes:

-

separation of trust state from operational state;

-

a generic evidence envelope, with CCS defined as an optional binding;

-

freshness and verifier-deployment information for evidence;

-

clarified ACK, retry, duplicate-detection, and ordering semantics;

-

explicit policy triggers for quarantine transitions;

-

restoration of the agent_type and framework identity fields;

-

simplification of the EXEC transaction model.

I would appreciate review and feedback, particularly on the protocol architecture, state models, evidence interface, and whether the current scope and abstractions are appropriate for interoperable agent management.

Thank you to everyone who contributed comments and technical observations on the previous revision.

Best regards,

Stelio E. Efstathiou
