Hi all,

some of you may not have been at the smart object security workshop, which was held more than a year ago in Paris. We are still trying to publish the RFC via the independent submission track:
http://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-gilger-smart-object-security-workshop-01
(For an unknown reason it takes very long to get it published...)

The reason I am pointing out this document is that some of the discussions talking place on the list have also been discussed at the workshop and we tried to summarize them. So, it might be a useful background reading for you.

Ciao
Hannes

PS: There is also an IAB document that you may want to take a look at that addresses some higher-level architectural issues:
http://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-iab-smart-object-architecture-02
