Hi Agam,

I've done a bit of work like this, which I started by rejecting
ns-2! Instead I worked with OMNET++ [1] which suited me better.
I integrated ephemeris handling into an OMNET module to get
the delays required on messages. My code's way out of date now,
since it was based on v2.3 and I'm waiting for the
soon-to-be-released v3.0 to start again. However, if its
of interest get in touch and I can let you know more.

I think some others may have done work based on STK [2] which
is another option if you've the time to learn how to use it
(and the licenses required).

Regards,
Stephen.

PS: I'd be interested in hearing back from you when you've picked
a simulator.
