A quick status update:

Alexey, Barry, Suresh and myself just met, and we are planning on
organizing a virtual meeting[0] for this general topic.

We are hoping to have the organization / scoping / logistics, etc part
done in a week or so, and then, as suggested by the guidance on face
to face and virtual interims we will give 4 weeks notice so people can
prepare and schedule, etc.

Barry will be sending more information re: agenda, etc.

[0]: BoFs have a lot of process around them (like BoF coordination
calls, etc.), and so having it as virtual meeting seemed better /
faster.

I don't think the execution is relevant when it was obviously a bad
idea in the first place.
This is like putting rabid weasels in your pants, and later expressing
regret at having chosen those particular rabid weasels and that pair
of pants.
