Hi Xiao Min,

CNP reminds me of Backward Explicit Congestion Notification (BECN) in 
Frame Relay which was in the early 1990ies. I don't know which 
significance, deployment, and efficiency it had at that time. A short 
comparison of CNP and BECN may be interesting. There are obvious 
commonalities but certainly also significant differences.
