Subject: How should Internet quality be measured? Join M-Lab's Community
Call on February 1, 2024
To: National Broadband Mapping Coalition <BBCoalition@marconisociety.org>
Cc: Georgia Bullen <georgia@measurementlab.net>

Hi everyone,

Lai Yi from Measurement Lab here. M-Lab is leading a research initiative,
supported by Internet Society Foundation, to define a measurable standard
for Internet quality, particularly for use by decision-makers working in
the public interest.

Seeing as the goals of the mapping coalition are aligned, we'd be happy to
have as many members as possible join us for our February community call
next Thursday Feb 1 at 11am ET to discuss what metrics, people and research
should be included in our initiative.

You can read more about our research on our blog
<https://www.measurementlab.net/blog/feb24-community-call> and register
<https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZwucuCgqTIiHdd1OVBDlvHVHKGfyGGoMn6U>
for
our community calls via Zoom. Let me know if you have any questions, happy
to discuss further.
