8th annual Indigenous Connectivity Summit (ICS)!

https://indigenousconnectivity.org/summits/2024-indigenous-connectivity-summit

in person at the Membertou Trade & Convention Centre in Nova Scotia,
Canada this June 4-6.

About the ICS

The ICS is a community-led forum dedicated to fostering collaboration
for the achievement of digital equity in Indigenous communities. Since
its inception, the ICS has evolved into the primary convening event
focused on digital equity for Indigenous leadership, community members,
researchers, and stakeholders, providing a platform for
solutions-focused discussions.

Pre-Summit Training

To ensure all delegates can fully participate in the discussions, we
hold two virtual six-week training programs in the lead-up to the event:
one on connectivity policy, and the other on the technical operations of
a community network. Register now to have the training details delivered
right to your email inbox, and watch the summit homepage for further
information!

Youth Scholarships

Each year, we provide funding to support at least 10 youth to attend
ICS. To apply, please fill out the ICS 2024 Registration Form and
indicate that you would like to apply for the Indigenous Youth Travel
Scholarship. If there is an Indigenous young person aged 18-35 you
believe should benefit from this scholarship, you are highly encouraged
to nominate them by emailing erin@clearskyconnections.ca. Please be sure
to include the youth’s contact information.

Your early commitment to this event is hugely appreciated, and we look
forward to your participation in shaping the discourse on digital equity
for Indigenous communities. For any inquiries or additional information,
please feel free to reach out to us at ici@clearskyconnections.ca.

Warmly,
Your ICI Team
