Hi Folks,

Our current plan is for the hackathon to occur as usual. If the IETF meeting is cancelled or changed to completely virtual, the hackathon will be impacted as well, but for now, the IETF meeting is still on and in person, and so is the hackathon. Remote participation is also available, and we expect a higher percentage of participants to be remote than usual.

Registration and updates to registration
-----------------------------------------------------
As always, registration for the hackathon is required in order to participate, onsite or remotely. Hackathon registration is independent of registration from the meeting, it is free, but it is still required.

If you have not yet registered and plan to participate, onsite or remote, please register here:
https://www.ietf.org/registration/ietf107/hackathonregistration.py

If you registered in advance for the hackathon (thank you!) and now need to cancel your registration or change it from onsite to remote participation, there is a link in the email you received when you registered that you can use to modify/cancel your registration. If you need to search for it, the subject and sender is as follows:

Subject: IETF 107 Hackathon Registration Confirmation
	From : registrar@ietf.org

You can verify the status of your registration at any time by looking for your name in the list of hackathon attendees:
https://www.ietf.org/registration/ietf107/hackathonattendance.py

Project Champions
-------------------------
Please plan for a higher percentage of remote participants in your project. One good way to handle this is add information in the wiki that will help remote attendees get started and understand how to coordinate with the team during the hackathon.

It is best for coordination purposes if a project champion, or at least someone from the project team, is onsite; however, completely remote teams are allowed and have worked well in the pasts. When adding your project details to the wiki, please include whether or not the project champion and/or the entire team will be remote.

If you planned to champion a project and are no longer able to do so, please be sure to remove the project from the wiki and send an email to the hackathon list to let others know.

You can add, updated, remove your project from wiki here:
https://trac.ietf.org/trac/ietf/meeting/wiki/107hackathon

Thanks for your attention and help!

Cheers,
Charles
