A New Internet-Draft is available from the on-line Internet-Drafts directories.

Title : IPvLX: IPv6 Addressing in the IPv4 Internet
	Author(s)	: F. Templin
	Filename	: draft-templin-ipvlx-01.txt
	Pages : 22
	Date : 2004-8-30

The IPv6 128-bit address space was designed as a solution for the
32-bit limitation of IPv4, but deployment of IPv4 in the global
Internet continues via private addressing domains behind Network
Address Translators (NATs). For these reasons, use of IPv6 at the
end nodes with minimal perturbation of IPv4 networks presents a
natural long-term transition and coexistence alternative. This
document proposes IP Virtual Link Extension (IPvLX): a new
encapsulation method for IPv6 addressing in IPv4 networks.

Internet-Drafts can also be obtained by e-mail.

Send a message to:
	mailserv@ietf.org.
In the body type:
	"FILE /internet-drafts/draft-templin-ipvlx-01.txt".

NOTE:	The mail server at ietf.org can return the document in
MIME-encoded form by using the "mpack" utility. To use this
feature, insert the command "ENCODING mime" before the "FILE"
command. To decode the response(s), you will need "munpack" or
a MIME-compliant mail reader. Different MIME-compliant mail readers
exhibit different behavior, especially when dealing with
"multipart" MIME messages (i.e. documents which have been split
up into multiple messages), so check your local documentation on
	how to manipulate these messages.

Below is the data which will enable a MIME compliant mail reader
implementation to automatically retrieve the ASCII version of the
Internet-Draft.
