Highlight of the discussion:
There are four I2NSF Use Cases:
<https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-pastor-i2nsf-access-usecases/>https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-pastor-i2nsf-access-usecases/
https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-zarny-i2nsf-data-center-use-cases/
<https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-jeong-i2nsf-sdn-security-services/>https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-jeong-i2nsf-sdn-security-services/

draft-pastor-i2nsf-access-usecases<https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-qi-i2nsf-access-network-usecase/> & draft-qi-i2nsf-access-network-usecase<https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-qi-i2nsf-access-network-usecase/> have been merged. Primarily to cover following scenarios for NSFs used for mobile and fixed access networks.
 Provisioning :

· Assign/de-assign vNSF to clients.

· Provisioning to the vNSF, based on specific requirement from clients.

· Retrieve and list of the vNSF functionalities.
vNSF Update
NSF Validation
NSFs:
• Inspection: IDS, IPS, DPI, Data Leakage Protection
• Manipulation: redirect, block , encryption,
• Impersonation: Honeypots
• Collecting Status

Consensus made at the meeting:

· Replace the word “OAM” with “Control & Management” in the document because OAM usually includes the device level configuration, restoration and fault management for NSFs.

· Should merge the Data Center On-demand & elastic NSFs assignment to Virtual Networks scenario from draft-zarny-i2nsf-data-center-use-cases. Especially to merge the text from Section 3 and Section 6 of draft-zarny-i2nsf-data-center-use-cases.

· Add the description of Authorization when a NSF is assigned to a client. Even though the Interface between Controller and Client is out of the current I2NSF scope, we should describe the scenario in the use case for the record keeping.

· Antonio Pastor from Telefonica will take the action to merge the text and upload the draft before July 6 deadline. (The draft name should be along the line of draft-xxx- i2nsf-usecases, instead of i2nsf-access-usecases).

· draft-jeong-i2nsf-sdn-security-services will stay as a standalone draft for now because there might be some unique information model and data model specifically for SDN applications. WG can decide later if it is necessary to be merged with the main I2NSF use case draft.

Please let me know if I missed anything.
Thanks,
Linda
