Hello ICNRG,

as you have noticed, both the ping and the traceroute draft are currently under IRSG review. They both have a dependency on a path steering mechanism, such as the one specified in draft-oran-icnrg-pathsteering.

We would therefore propose adopting draft-oran-icnrg-pathsteering as an RG work item, with the goal to publish it as an experimental RFC in the future.

Please let us know before Tuesday, October 11th, whether you have any comments or concerns.

Thanks,
Dirk
