I deny any knowledge of the events Borman describes. I don't know Borman
except over the net and I don't know what prompted him to say what he
did. I haven't been logged on for a few days and I was quite surprised
to see these accusations.

Obviously somebody's trying to destroy any chance of resolving the
TAP-versus-IDENT debate in any reasonable manner. (I doubt the IESG
would stoop to this level, but I know there are people who would.)

In light of this I ask everyone not to assume that communications
supposedly from me are in fact from me. Please be very careful, folks.
