Folks,

The document has been presented at the last meeting and discussed on the mailing list. We received some feedback and addressed it in http://www.ietf.org/id/draft-lapukhov-bgp-opaque-signaling-02.txt

We incorporated the following changes in the newest version:

- Both Key and Value are now encoded as part of MP_REACH_NLRI (no optional attribute needed, solves UPDATE packing problem)
- Added proposal for "VPN Key-Value SAFI" that requires 8-byte route-distinguished to the key name, to allow for same level of unique information propagation as an L3 VPN would permit.
- A new section that suggests (but does not mandate) unique key name generation is added to the document.

The authors would like to propose adopting the draft as a WG document.

Regards,

Petr
