The IESG has received a request from the Inter-Domain Routing Working
Group to consider BGP communities attribute
<draft-ietf-idr-communities-00.txt> for the status of Proposed
Standard.

The IESG will also consider the publication of An Application of the
BGP Community Attribute in Multi-home Routing
<draft-ietf-idr-community-usage-00.txt> as an Informational RFC.

The IESG plans to make a decision in the next few weeks, and solicits
final comments on this action. Please send any comments to the
iesg@ietf.org or ietf@cnri.reston.va.us mailing lists by May 20, 1996.
