Jie Dong:

Thanks for the reminder for slides for Friday.

I’m working on the IDR Status slide, and I need help. Below is the status on WG LC and Adoption.
Would people let me know if I’ve missed any requests for WG LC or adoption?

Each entry has the draft name and the status.

One status could use some explanation. IDR has completed the work on CAR and CT, and we will be turning to work on Flow Specification v2 as a major work. This work focus is in addition to our ongoing focus for the following BGP Additions: add-path, AIGP, BGP-LS, SR, and security (e.g. SAVNET).

The FSv2 technology seems reasonable, but we have decided to break it into 4 specifications. The shorter specifications break the FSv2 implementation into 4 efforts. I’ll explain more on Friday 4/23 Idr session at IETF-119. During March – July, we’ll try “design-team” interims that will allow quick turn-around on the FSv2.

If you think the IDR processing of ongoing work (Add-path, AIGP, BGP-LS, SR, and Security) is moving to slow, please let me know.

Cheers,

Sue

The draft idr agenda for IETF 119 has been posted at: https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/agenda-119-idr/<https://shared.outlook.inky.com/link?domain=datatracker.ietf.org&t=h.eJw9jlsOgyAUBbdi-K7A9VUwaeJWrnAVa4UGMU3adO8tP_6ezJnMhx3xwfqCuZSeey-ExYQpolkp8oXSxEOchQ1G4EzeYgmgy8VGwS4FW_PRU_ojIFvVaajE7jDSPnj7dtyETbTU6VoDKjmN2piRdAOjBpAGVC0rJeAKUmlQsuNQZytl630hboOfb410B75oybLBbhjNmZVhm-Fz-P4AE68-zw.MEQCIEcXiT_6bmtYh8xx3yQvAsWinWhX1d0w4jC4pbUbzq8EAiArzVwZZvrhO0S78A2nj8MQPESFalfFknX5QEosalO-qA>

Please let us know if any change is needed.

Currently all presentations are in the Monday session, and the Friday session will be used as overflow session in case some topics require more on-site discussion.

Presenters, please remember to either send me (and CC the chairs) the slides (in PDF format) or upload them by yourself 24 hours before the session you present. Our first session is on Monday afternoon, which means we need the slides for the first session ready by Sunday afternoon (local time), thanks.

Best regards,
Jie
