A New Internet-Draft is available from the on-line Internet-Drafts directories.
This draft is a work item of the Audio/Video Transport Working Group of the IETF.

Title : RTP payload format for MPEG-4 Audio/Visual streams
	Author(s)	: Y. Kikuchi, T. Nomura, S. Fukunaga,
                          Y. Matsui, H. Kimata
	Filename	: draft-ietf-avt-rtp-mpeg4-es-01.txt
	Pages : 20
	Date : 31-May-00

This document describes RTP payload formats for the carriage of MPEG-4
Audio and Visual streams[2][3], and an RTCP format for MPEG-4 upstream
messages functionalities[4]. In this specification, MPEG-4 Audio/Visual
bitstreams are directly mapped into RTP packets. The RTP header fields
usage and the fragmentation rule for MPEG-4 Visual and Audio bitstreams
are specified. It also specifies an RTCP packet usage to carry the MPEG-4 upstream messages. In addition, MIME type registrations and SDP usages for the MPEG-4 Audio and Visual streams are defined in this document.

NOTE:	The mail server at ietf.org can return the document in
MIME-encoded form by using the "mpack" utility. To use this
feature, insert the command "ENCODING mime" before the "FILE"
command. To decode the response(s), you will need "munpack" or
a MIME-compliant mail reader. Different MIME-compliant mail readers
exhibit different behavior, especially when dealing with
"multipart" MIME messages (i.e. documents which have been split
up into multiple messages), so check your local documentation on
	how to manipulate these messages.
