Title : The Session Inititation Protocol (SIP) 'Join' Header Author(s) : R. Mahy, D. Petrie Filename : draft-ietf-sip-join-00.txt Pages : 15 Date : 2002-10-28 This document defines a new header for use with SIP multi-party applications and call control. The Join header is used to logically join an existing SIP dialog with a new SIP dialog. This primitive can be used to enable a variety of features, for example: 'Barge-In', answering-machine-style 'Message Screening' and 'Call Center Monitoring'. Note that definition of these example features is non- normative. Different MIME-compliant mail readers exhibit different behavior, especially when dealing with "multipart" MIME messages (i.e. documents which have been split up into multiple messages), so check your local documentation on how to manipulate these messages. Below is the data which will enable a MIME compliant mail reader implementation to automatically retrieve the ASCII version of the Internet-Draft.
