The IESG has received a request from the Internet Fax Working Group to consider A Simple Mode of Facsimile Using Internet Mail <draft-ietf-fax-service-v2-05.txt> as a Draft Standard. This document will obsolete RFC2305, currently a Proposed Standard. The IESG plans to make a decision in the next few weeks, and solicits final comments on this action. Please send any comments to the iesg@ietf.org or ietf@ietf.org mailing lists by June 24, 2002.
