A new Request for Comments is now available in online RFC libraries. RFC 2862 Title: RTP Payload Format for Real-Time Pointers Author(s): M. Civanlar, G. Cash Status: Standards Track Date: June 2000 Mailbox: civanlar@research.att.com, glenn@research.att.com Pages: 7 Characters: 12031 Updates/Obsoletes/SeeAlso: None I-D Tag: draft-ietf-avt-pointer-02.txt This document describes an RTP [1] payload format for transporting the coordinates of a dynamic pointer that may be used during a presentation. Although a mouse can be used as the pointer, this payload format is not intended and may not have all functionalities needed to implement a general mouse event transmission mechanism. This document is a product of the Audio/Video Transport Working Group of the IETF. This is now a Proposed Standard Protocol. This document specifies an Internet standards track protocol for the Internet community, and requests discussion and suggestions for improvements. Please refer to the current edition of the "Internet Official Protocol Standards" (STD 1) for the standardization state and status of this protocol. Distribution of this memo is unlimited.
