The IESG has approved the following document:

- 'Textual Conventions for Internet Network Addresses '
   <draft-ietf-ops-rfc3291bis-06.txt> as a Proposed Standard

This document has been reviewed in the IETF but is not the product of an
IETF Working Group. This document obsoletes RFC 3291.

The IESG contact person is Bert Wijnen.

Technical Summary

This MIB module defines textual conventions to represent commonly
used Internet network layer addressing information. The intent is
that these textual conventions will be imported and used in MIB
modules that would otherwise define their own representations.

  This document Obsoletes RFC 3291.

This is the 3rd version, which introduces the InetZoneIndex,
  InetScopeType and InetVersion textual conventions.

Working Group Summary

This document is not a WG document. But it did get reviewed on the
mibs (currently ietfmibs) mailing list. In addition a 4 week IETF
Last Call has been issued. The MIB Doctors have also reviewed this.

Protocol Quality

Bert Wijnen has reviewed this document for the IESG.
