We currently have 1061 registered participants for IETF 113, 298 onsite and 763 remote. This is approximately 200 fewer than we would expect to have this close to the meeting and so we suspect that there are a number of people waiting for up to date information before deciding on how to participate.

To help inform your decision, we have updated our FAQ at https://www.ietf.org/how/meetings/113/faq/ with more detail on the COVID management protocols in place, how sessions will work in the hybrid environment, and what you can expect at the venue.

I encourage anyone who is not already registered and intending to participate (either onsite or remote) to register as soon as possible. In particular, if you plan to participate onsite then registering for the meeting and booking your hotel room will help greatly with several aspects of capacity planning at the venue.

Please feel fee to contact me directly if you have any questions.
