This specification defines QPACK: a compression format for
efficiently representing HTTP fields that is to be used in HTTP/3.
This is a variation of HPACK compression that seeks to reduce
head-of-line blocking.

This document is a product of the QUIC Working Group of the IETF.

This is now a Proposed Standard.

STANDARDS TRACK: This document specifies an Internet Standards Track
protocol for the Internet community, and requests discussion and suggestions
for improvements.  Please refer to the current edition of the Official
