The IESG has published draft-iesg-media-types-00.txt in order to
gather additional input on draft-freed-media-type-reg-04.txt
and the registry for which it specifies registration rules.
Comments to either the IETF list or IESG list are encouraged
by July 1. The IESG notes that the authors of draft-freed-
do not believe that the IESG draft is a reasonable basis on
which to found discussion; comments on draft-freed-
or the registry which it specifies may, of course, be on
whatever basis the reader believes appropriate.
