Ole Jacobsen is the IAOC member that was appointed by the IESG, and his two-year term is up in March. The IESG is starting the process to fill this seat in March 2014, with the term ending in March 2016.

The IESG is responsible for filling one seat every other year per BCP 101. The call for candidates and desirable qualifications was in http://www.ietf.org/mail-archive/web/ietf-announce/current/msg12224.html

The following candidates have put their names forward:

Tobias Gondrom
Chris Griffiths
Ole Jacobsen
John Levine
Tina Tsou

Please send your remarks in confidence about any or all candidates to chair@ietf.org. We thank you in advance for your help. Please provide the feedback by Jan 22nd, 2014.

Note: The nomcom process is ongoing in parallel for another IAOC seat. If the nomcom process results in one of these persons being selected, the IESG will naturally reduce this list by one.

Best regards,
Jari Arkko
IETF Chair
