As part of its oversight responsibility for the Internet Research Task Force (IRTF), the IAB is responsible for selecting the IRTF Chair. After a call for nominations[1] and seeking feedback from the community[2], the IAB has reappointed Dirk Kutscher[3] as the IRTF Chair for the 2027-2029 term. The IAB thanks Dirk for his willingness to continue to serve the community in this capacity. The IAB would also like to thank everyone who provided feedback during this process.
