False claim that "IETF management [is] selling IETF mailing-list text to AI companies"

Some of you may have see the claim made that "IETF management [is] selling IETF mailing-list text to AI companies".  This claim, as you might expect, is entirely false.  The IETF publishes its mail archives openly for anyone to consume [1], licensed under the IETF Trust Legal Provisions (TLP) [2].  The IETF does not sell or otherwise monetise any data as clearly documented in the IETF/iAB/IRTF Privacy Statement [3].

To save me from having to rebut every false claim made about the IETF, I recommend that anyone who reads a "serious" claim about the IETF asks themselves the following questions:
1. If this were true then wouldn’t more people be talking about it?
2. Is the source trustworthy or have they previously made false claims about the IETF?
3. What do the actual IETF policies say?
