A new IETF non-working group email list has been created.

List address: dots@ietf.org
Archive: http://www.ietf.org/mail-archive/web/dots/
To subscribe: https://www.ietf.org/mailman/listinfo/dots

Purpose:

DDoS Open Threat Signaling (DOTS) is a method by which a device or application participating in DDoS mitigation may signal information related to current threat handling to other devices or applications. The devices/applications may reside locally or in remote systems. The purpose of this list is to discuss the technology, directions and potential standardization of DOTS. Initially DDoS mitigation is the focus, but open threat signaling could apply to other threat types in future.

For additional information, please contact the list administrators.
