The IAB is pleased to announce the selection of David Lawrence[1] to serve as the IETF Liaison to the ICANN Board of Directors[2]. David's term will begin with the ICANN Annual General Meeting in November. The IAB would like to thank David and all of the candidates for their willingness to serve the community in this role.  

The IAB also would like to extend a special thanks to Harald Alvestrand[3], who has served in this role for the past six years.
