|   |     Calls for Participation: Enterprises (Anonymous) and Universities      IPv6 adoption at large, brick-and-mortar enterprises has lagged. Some feel that unless this issue is addressed, the Internet as a whole will stall at an IPv6 adoption rate of about 60%. We may have islands of IPv4 in an IPv6-Internet for years to come. This hampers the ability of the Internet protocols to evolve and impacts the functionality of the Internet as a whole.
Security and application conversion (from IPv4 to IPv6) are two of the potentially most troublesome areas in IPv6 deployment.   We are seeking "brick-and-mortar" enterprises to work to fill out anonymous surveys to help us define requirements, gaps, and an inventory of equipment and products which need to be supported.

The surveys will not be associated with your organization in any way.  If you help us with the surveys, we can also be available to answer questions when you deploy IPv6 within your organization.

We will to use this to help all enterprises to assess what needs to be done.  We will also create "Best Practices" documents for migration.  We can also provide feedback on requirements and gaps in IPv6 support to larger forums such as the US National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF).

We are now doing a "Call for Participation: IPv6 Enterprise Survey (Security / Applications)" and a "Call for Participation: University Research Project (IPv6 Security and Applications)".

For more information:
Enterprises: click HERE Universities: click HERE   Currently, the enterprise portion is limited to the ARIN region.  Universities may be from any region of the world,   If you are an enterprise which wishes to participate or work with us with the goal of deploying IPv6 on your network and you are in a region of the world that is served by another Internet Registry,  please contact:   president@industrynetcouncil.org or info@iiesoc.in.    We hope to cover these regions in the coming years so we would like to talk to you.

Enterprise Operations Survey
Industry Network Technology Council (INTC) is interested in soliciting information from enterprise technicians.  The purpose of this survey is to find out the most important problems that enterprises face on a day-to-day basis.  This will serve as a guidepost as to the kind of education (webinars) we might do or may be input to requirements to standards organizations.
Your information will remain completely private.  It will not be identified with your company in any way.  We do not have access to the email ID that you used to complete the survey.
Please help us by completing the short survey.  Click HERE.      Nalini Elkins : President: Industry Network Technology Council (INTC)
Dhruv Dhody: President: India Internet Engineering Society (IIESoc)
