See you tomorrow at 7:30.   I went for a run this morning.   Going by the river is nice, except I’ve never really ran on cobble stones before and it was noticeably different.   I noticed people walking/running on a couple flat strips.  That worked better.

Tuesday at 0730 sounds good to me.  I'm happy to start with whoever goes that morning, and I'm happy to be dropped, if I'm too slow. The trail is on most map systems, so you can see how it shifts at the road crossings.

As for my assessment:  I vote for 'safe for me' over scenic (or running on cobbles), especially since I'm normally running alone.  I tried running in the parks here, with mixed success.

Hi, I can’t make Michael’s hash run, but instead plan to go out on Tuesday morning around 7. 30am for a 5km or so run along the river. It seems sunrise is 7am so it should be light enough by then and we’d get back in time for the beverage break.

Happy to consider any other route anyone fancies suggesting - following the river seems easy, or maybe I shouldn’t say that :)



If I’m very keen I might also go out Thursday or Friday morning too.  Maybe the other way along the river.



And it’s all weather dependent.  But it looks set to be around 7-10’C during the day and dryish.
