The IESG has received a request from the Point-to-Point Protocol Extensions Working Group to consider "The PPP DECnet Phase IV Control Protocol (DNCP)" <draft-ietf-pppext-dncp-00.txt> for the status of Draft Standard. Note that this document is intended to update RFC 1376. There are a few minor editorial changes from the text in RFC 1376. The IESG plans to make a decision in the next few weeks, and solicits final comments on this action. Please send any comments to the iesg@cnri.reston.va.us or ietf@cnri.reston.va.us mailing lists by February 8, 1995. IESG Secretary
